The Czech Community of Sokol and Its Relationship to Religion in the Period of Interwar Czechoslovakia Abstract This thesis deals with the relationship of the Sokol and religion and at the same time with the relationship to religious organizations predominantly during the First Republic, using period materials from archives and various records of prints that have been preserved to the present day. In the thesis we will be able to see the development of the Sokol from its earliest beginnings, through its involvement in historical events, especially its relationship to religion and to religious organizations that existed at the time of the First Republic. The thesis also deals with the changes in the passing time against the background of historical events and the thought development of the Sokol in the religious environment first in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and then in the time of the First Czechoslovak Republic until 1938. Theatre of Slovácko I.

The main urban concept is the establishment and completion of a pair of self-standing buildings - the Moravian Museum and the Hvězda Cultural Center. The design of a theater building arises in the vicinity of the cultural area, where the functions complement and support them. Using a height rope, a height dominant is created, located in the city center view. Theater becomes a town-building element. The already adjoining entrance to Kina Hvězda is located in the plot, and its design creates a dialogue and common space between the constructions in front of a space that is adequate to the meaning of the building, but does not limit the function of the park. From the communication on the northern side of the parcel is designed a new object, which deflects and creates peace around the building.

The thesis deals with the history of the Sokol Physical Education Unit Pilsen Doubravka in the years 1900-1950. It captures in which way the Sokol Physical Education Unit Doubravka developed, which historical events affected it either positively and negatively. The thesis is divided into a total of five chapters. The first of them is of completely theoretical character and the problematic of free time is processed here. The next four chapters deal with the Sokol Physical Education Unit Doubravka in the first 50 years of its existence examining the individual historical events which are arranged chronologically.

Nest defence and predator recognition by Arctic tern \kur{(Sterna paradisaea)}

In the presented work, I describe the behaviour of Arctic terns (Sterna paradisaea) toward predator species that differ in the threat they represent to them and to their nests. I presented textile dummies of great black-backed gull (Larus marinus), peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus), common raven (Corvus corax) and common eider (Somateria mollissima), piece of wood as a harmless stimulus, and human intruder in sitting position near the tern nests. Experiments were conducted on the Varanger peninsula in Norway. The tern behaviour was recorded and analysed to see any dummy species related differences.

Leisure activities in Hluboká nad Vltavou between 1900 - 1950

This theses focuses on studying leisure time activities in the city of Hluboká nad Vltavou during the time period from 1900 to 1950. It has five chapters. The first chapter concentrates on the definition of basic terms such as leisure time, the concept of leisure time activities and historical development of leisure time. The second chapter belongs to the history of Hluboká nad Vltavou in context with the war period between 1900 and 1950. The third chapter describes the school system of Hluboká nad Vltavou. In this chapter I also connect the history of Hluboká nad Vltavou schools and the war period at other schools-with focus on the leisure time activities. The main idea of the fourth chapter is to depict leisure time activities in Hluboká nad Vltavou and the leisure fellowships in this city. In the fifth chapter I briefly describe the current situation of leisure time activities in Hluboká nad Vltavou. This theses was made by collecting historical and current data from all available historical sources and bibliography.

The History of Physical Education and Sport in Veselí nad Lužnicí

In this bachelor thesis, we discuss about history of physical education and sports in Veselí nad Lužnicí from its very organized beginning in 1887, when unity of physical education Sokol has been established, to 2020. The thesis is divided into four historical periods. First period lasted from 1887 to 1918. Second period deals not only with the Sokol, but also with establishment and development of other organizations, like the Labour Physical Education Unity, the Czech Tourist Club and so on, dating from 1918 to 1945. Third period highlights significant historical postwar development of sport clubs from 1945 to 1989. The fourth and last period is primarily TJ Lokomotiva and sport clubs from 1989 until the present in town Veselí nad Lužnicí.

History of TJ Sokol Zdíkov

In its introduction, the bachelor's thesis focuses on the history of the village of Zdíkov from the first written sources to the present. It is followed by a brief description of the history of movement culture and sports, a description of the contemporary socio-political situation in the Czech lands and the related establishment of the Sokol association. Furthermore, the history of Sokol from its inception to the present is dealt with. The last chapter is concerned with the origin of the Sokol Zdíkov gym unit and its development up to the present. Given the fact that the main part of the work was created during the "coronavirus" restrictions, its basis is not based on archival materials, but on interviews with the mayor of the Czech Sokol Community, leading Czech historians, contemporary witnesses of Zdíkov as well as contemporary sports officials and literary sources.

Sokol sports association and its influence on the formation of values of membership. Case study

As a diploma thesis I choose the Sokol Sports Association and its influence on formation of T. J. Sokol Kampa membership base. The topic is structured as a case study. The theoretical part defines the term "value" in psychological, sociological, economic, philosophical and ethical context of today. I considered the historical development of Sokol and its fundamental values which are enshrined in the statues. The thesis describes the organizational structure of Sokol, selected values of Sokol and individual values of members. The thesis is focused on perception of Sokol values by members and non-members of Sokol. Groups of members and non-members are compared based on the information obtained. These areas are structured into chapters and sections. Survey data are then compared with the theoretical assumptions.
